According to research at the National Association of Realtors (NAR), buyer activity in January was three times greater than it was the prior year. Home buyers who are ready, willing and able are in the market at surprising numbers.

The most recent Existing Home Sales Report from NAR revealed that the months’ supply of housing inventory had fallen to 4.4 months which is the lowest it has been in over a year!

Cost-Share Program for Residential Street Trees

 

Street trees provide many environmental, economic and social benefits to our beautiful community. Property owners are responsible for caring for the trees next to their property including pruning and removal of dead, dying, or hazardous trees. The City of Coeur d’Alene has developed this cost-sharing program to help with some of the costs associated with maintaining these residential street trees.

Cost-Share Program Requirements

  • The property must be single-family residential and within the city limits of Coeur d’Alene
  • Only trees located in the public city right-of-ways will be eligible for reimbursement (widths vary)
  • A current city-licensed tree service must
