Even though our doors have been open since October, our Official Open House was last week on April 17th. The turnout and the enormous amount of support from our friends and family was awe-inspiring! Great conversation with great people; we couldn't have asked for a better night! Thank you again if you were able to stop by! Have you filed your homeowner's exemption?

A homeowner’s exemption is a program that reduces property taxes for individuals who own and occupy their home as their primary residence.  By reducing the net taxable value of the home and up to one acre of land by 50%, maximum $83,920 for 2014.  This maximum reduction is adjusted annually using the House Pricing Index for Idaho (HPI) published by the Federal Housing Finance Agency .

You must own and occupy, as well as apply for the exemption by April 15th of the year you are applying with the county assessor’s office. Joel Pearl Group celebrates opening of Brokerage

Joel Pearl Group will celebrate the opening of its new boutique real estate brokerage in Hayden with an open house April 17.

Doors to the new office, 9235 N. Government Way, will be open to clients and friends from 3-8 p.m.

"It's an exciting time," said Joel Pearl, owner and broker. "It's a fun environment here at JPG; we're a professional family founded on a deep commitment to being ahead of traditional real estate brokerage business practices."

Pearl started his real estate career in 2004 and opened Joel Pearl Group in October 2013.
